Ajahn Brahm Maha Thero – Will Vist Sri Lanka in 2009

On the invitation of the Sri Lankan Buddhist Community in Perth Ajahn
Brahm has accepted to undertake a teaching tour to Sri Lanka. The program is subject to the security situation in Sri Lanka at the time and is currently scheduled as below.

Departs Perth: Wednesday 21st January 2009.
Returns Perth: Friday 30th January 2009.

Saturday 24 Jan 2009
8am to 10am talk for members of sangha and lay community at Na-Uyana Monastery, Kurunegala

2pm to 4pm talk for Members of sangha and lay community at Peradeniya.

Sunday 25th Jan 2009
9am to 11am Talk for members of sangha and lay community at Polgasowita Monastery, Piliyandala.

3pm to 5pm Talk for Members of sangha and lay community at Kelaniya Raja Maha Vihara

Monday 26th Jan 2009
9am to 11am Talk for members of sangha and lay community at Kalutara Bodhi
7pm to 9 pm Discussion with members of sangha at Ellekanda monastery, Matara.

Tuesday 27th Jan 2009
8.30 am to 10.30 am Talk for members of sangha and lay community at Ellekanda Monastrey, Matara

All above teachings will be meditation oriented and will be translated live to Sinhala by Ven Kahawe Abhaya.

Wednesday 28 Jan 2009
4pm to 6pm Talk and Discussion for the general public at BMICH, Colombo 7. (in English only)

Recording of interviews for public TV and Radio stations have been arranged.

Please note that due to the tight schedule and travel involved, the program can not allow for any private engagements.
