How to remove a Hindrance in Meditation Practice

In this short video at the Chuang Yen Monastery in Carmel, NY during a retreat in 2007m, Bhante Vimalaramsi gives a talk from Majjhima Nikaya #20 in which the subject is how to remove hindrances from you meditation.Also as a result of the removal of the hindrance the meditator may experience a state of meditation practice known as a Jhana-or level of progress. Bhante describes what this is and is not. His definition differs than most meditation teachers propogating various forms of Buddhist meditation practice. He also discusses the 5 types of Joy. 3 mundane and 2 only developed through meditation practice.
